I am not accepting picture book queries or submissions at this time. I am open to queries from people I have corresponded with in the past or directly requested materials from, those who have attended conferences where I spoke, or those who come by referral from industry people I know. I am not open to cold queries. Please include the first ten pages of your project with your query. Again, no picture books, please.

Thank you for your interest in querying me! I am honored that you thought of me.

Due to having a pretty full list and also managing an agency, I take on new clients rarely. In order to give as much time as possible to my current clients, I have always been closed to unsolicited queries. I provide avenues for querying by speaking to groups and conferences, participating in pitch contests, and accepting referrals from creators and publishing professionals I know.

Cold queries will not receive a response.

Note that I only represent authors and author-illustrators of books for children and teens. Please do not query adult projects.

At this time, I am not considering picture book queries, as that side of my list is more than full.

I represent author-illustrators but not artists who do not also write. Because I am not currently considering picture book submissions, this means I'm only considering author-illustrators who are querying graphic novels.
