Hello. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm currently only looking for adult bookclub fiction and young adult fiction.
In Young Adult I'm looking for all genres.
In Adult Fiction I'm only looking for Bookclub Fiction. What does that mean? Novels for adults with deeply drawn characters that make readers think about the world differently.
For example, here are some books in this genre that I did not represent but absolutely loved: Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorow by Gabrielle Zevin, and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
From my own list, examples include A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw, On Rotation by Shirlene Obuobi, Beautiful Little Fools by Jillian Cantor, and Blood Sugar by Sascha Rothchild.
Bookclub fiction crosses genres (magical realism, romance, historical, thriller, etc) but generally targets a female readership.
At the end of the day, I want books that are conversation starters. Give me something to talk about! :)
