Query to Tina Wainscott/The Seymour Agency
Thank you for your query! There's only one link to upload a document, so please combine your proposal and sample chapters into one document to upload. It's a must to see all the business stuff (platform/marketing), your pitch, and your writing in one place. A proposal is necessary to evaluate your book and where it fits in the market. You can find templates online with a simple Google search. Be sure to have a 1-3 sentence pitch right at the beginning of your query letter. It's all about the hook! I will eventually get to your query. Like most agents, I'm juggling a lot of different things for my current clients, so there are times that weeks or a few months go by before I can get to my queries. My apologies...I don't like it either. If this is a religious/Christian proposal, please note that I don't represent those. Send to Julie Gwinn at https://querymanager.com/JulieGwinn Thank you, and I truly hope I find the gem that makes me feel YES! in your query!
