DO GIVE US: Fiction for Middle Grade, Young Adult, and Adult audiences. We accept select chapter books, nonfiction, and poetry collections. Works can be of any length, including novellas or a large series. We focus on Muslim or Muslim-friendly fiction. While Muslim experiences vary, we lean toward orthodoxy. DON'T GIVE US: Anything political (excluding works tied to a storyline), excessively violent, horror, adult mystery, thrillers, descriptions of sexuality (e.g., erotica, on-page acts, or exploration of sexuality), anti-religious, or stereotypical of Muslims or other groups. We are also not a good fit for books that have witchcraft or polytheism as protagonists. No picture books unless we request them.
